Build Upper Body Strength: Day 5 of the 10 Days Of Holy Yoga Challenge

September 15, 2017 By Kristen

Hey friend! We’re doing a 10 part video series to challenge you to hit your mat for 10 days in a row, and this video is Day 5. We’ll help bring some consistency to your life, and we’ll also cover several different aspects of holy yoga. You’ll get a lot out of this challenge whether you’re brand new or no stranger to the mat, so don’t skip out!

If you’re finding us for the first time, head over here to start with Day 1.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a fairly independent person. I work hard and don’t like to depend on other people. But sometimes I feel so weak and tired, and it’s usually when I’ve tried to do too much on my own, apart from God. He has designed us to depend on Him, and through that dependency, we will be strengthened. Sounds a bit counter intuitive, right? He says in our weakness, we are made strong (2 Corinthians 12:10). He also says if we depend on Him, we will be strengthened at our core (Proverbs 3:8).

Let’s meditate on what it means to fully depend on God, and then strengthen our core and upper body with this fiery flow!

Previous Day: Day 4 – Improve Your Balance
Next Day: Day 6 – Back Bends
