In this video we break down a sun salutation B sequence (we like to say Son salutation in holy yoga). A Son salutation is a collection of postures that you do together in a flowing sequence, coordinating each pose with your breath.
Son Salutations are great for building some heat in the body and are often used as a warm-up. But they can be practiced on their own as a stand-alone workout and are a great way to sneak in some movement during your day (like while your coffee is brewing or if you need a quick pick-me-up in the afternoon!).
Son sal B is a sequence made up of mountain pose, chair pose, standing forward fold, half standing forward fold, plank, chaturanga, up dog, down dog, three legged dog, and warrior 1.
Check out the video to see how to put the poses together into a nice heat building sequence!
