Reduce Worry and Anxiety with this Guided Meditation

Do you struggle with worry and anxiety? Are there achy parts of your heart that feel raw and vulnerable? This guided meditation will bring some peace and calm to an anxious, worrisome heart.

Today we’re meditating on 1 Peter 5:7: “Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.” (NLT).

He cares so deeply for you and wants to take your worries and anxiety! So why is it so hard to give it over to Him?

I think the answer is different for everyone, but here are a few thoughts:

  1. It’s hard to trust and be vulnerable when you’ve been hurt or let down in the past.
  2. It’s hard to come to God when we feel like we aren’t good enough or we’ve messed up.
  3. It’s hard to let go of control, to trust that His way is so much better than our own!

I invite you today to show up just as you are and soak up the goodness that is found in His presence. Together we will breathe, be still, and pour our worries out before Him in exchange for His peace & healing.
