Hey friends!
I get asked A LOT about crow pose, and for good reason: It’s often the first arm balance you learn in your yoga practice. It’s also the foundation for other arm balances, so it’s important to understand the basics of this foundational pose.
Crow pose builds strength in your upper arms, forearms, wrists, and abs. It also helps improve your coordination and balance. And it’s fun!
It can be very intimidating for some, but it doesn’t need to be. Be prepared to wobble and fall a little…most do when they first try it!
If you think you might fall, do it on a mat or someplace soft, and make sure there aren’t any objects in front of you in case you roll forward. Speaking of rolling forward…if you start to feel yourself falling forward, tuck your head and roll like you’re doing a summersault.
Keep working at it and you’ll get it.
Be brave!
