Put My yoke upon your shoulders—it might appear heavy at first, but it is perfectly fitted to your curves. Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. When you are yoked to Me, your weary souls will find rest. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
Do you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders? If so that’s a good sign that you’re trying to do it all in your own strength. Jesus is inviting you to trade your heavy load, which you were never meant to carry on your own, for His; a yoke that’s easy, and light. He’s inviting you to yoke yourself to Him. Do this, and you’ll find rest for your weary soul.
