To supplement our Posture Breakdown Guide, we’re launching a series of videos where we break down common yoga poses to help you shore up your form. In this video we go over Warrior 3.
Warrior 3 is a balancing pose, and while it’s considered intermediate, there are ways to make it easier if you’re just starting out or haven’t practiced in a while.
Warrior 3 helps build strength and stability in your core and legs, and pretty much the entire back side of your body – back, shoulders, hamstrings, calves, and ankles.
It also develops your ability to concentrate and focus while pushing through the wobble and burn, which helps you remain calm in spite of difficult circumstances both on and off the mat.
