We created a series of 10 videos to challenge you to hit your mat for 10 days in a row, and this video is Day 1. We also cover several different aspects of a Christian yoga practice, so it’s a great place to start if you’re a beginner.

In this video we break down a foundational sequence: Son Salutation (aka Sun Salutation). When you connect your breath with these 6 postures, you have what we call a Son Salutation A. Son Salutations are designed to warm up the entire body and prepare the mind for a focused practice.
BUT…you can do Son Sals by themselves while your coffee is brewing, as a moving meditation with your favorite song, or while your kids are playing at the park! In our videos you’ll often hear us give the invitation to pause and flow through a few Son Salutations, and if you didn’t before, now you’ll know what that means.
Our heart intention today is to meditate on the words of Luke 10:27 when Jesus tells us to love God, ourselves, and others with every part of our being.
